Description
Geert Demuynck started in 1981 with the national Belgian broadcaster BRT. As a non-beer drinker, he and his colleagues went to the Koekoek in Asse where they served a flat beer (lambic) from a wooden barrel. The interest in lambic, Oude Geuze (Gueuze), Oude Kriek and derivatives was a fact. A lot of research was done, many lambic breweries were visited and participated in events.
Things picked up speed around 2006 and soon after that the guiding started.

2021 was the year when everything got even more intense. Publitasting started. In addition to his own activities, Geert was also active at Brouwerij Timmermans, Devillé and Angerik and a collaboration was started with Brouwerij Eylenbosch, which became the main activity. With its own Stekerij Publitasting, it is the intention to only develop products and make limited editions.

Purplish colour, some haze. The aroma has a big toasted oak note, and is quite vinous. The body is soft, there's a good vinous note, again some toasted oak. Touch of leathery brett, a bit tart. Not actually much lambic to this. But it's still nice.

Lots going on here, thanks Liam! Herbal with the rosemary on the front and the fennel more towards the back. Nice funk.

LCI. Lambic with a gentle wood at note, whiskey is very gentle (almost more lowland than Highland).

Bottle shared at Brewver Belgian Winter Gathering. Lovely dark red to purple color, small white to off-white head. Smell and taste sourness, vineous, grape peel, tart-bitter finish. Quite alright. 8-7-7-6-7,5

Bottle shared at Brewver Belgian Winter Gathering. Clear golden color, small white head. Aroma is really really weirdly floral. Not my thing at all. Flavor is balanced sour with lavender again. Meh in the end imo though. 8-5-6-7-6

75cl bottle @ Belgian Beer Geeks Winter Gathering. Pours a generally clear gold, white head. Big lavender whiff. Dominating floral perfumed character with a confident sour edge, spritzy fuzzy carb, with a lovely underlying geuze character. Just a little too much lavender tho.

75cl bottle @ Belgian Beer Geeks Winter Gathering. Misty deep purple appearance, white head. Interesting blueberry / apple hybrid.. seems a little jarring at times, can't say the apple is fully welcome but it's tolerated whilst you search for more blueberries. Moderately sweet, nicely sour. Generally decent

75cl bottle @ Belgian Beer Geeks Winter Gathering. Generally clear Ribena purple with a pink-tinged white head. Wild fragrance with some grape juice. Taste brings nice woody inflections alongside wine grape shades.. pleasant wild funk throughout with a gentle acidic tang on the finish.. decent.

Pours unclear blonde. Small white head. Scent is very green, herbal hops. Medium acidic impression, not overly complex or deep in it's sour aroma's. Bit brett. Taste is full, tart, citric, bit cheesy (isovaleric?) Herbal aroma, rather acetic.
