Can. Semi opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Palate is very light and smooth. Mellow smooth dark malts, smooth chocolate and a little vanilla. Little fruity chocolate. Smooth finish. A little thin but nicely drinkable stout, smooth and chocolatey and no dark malt tangy shit.

Cask at 2017 Darlington CAMRA beer festival at the Forum. Amber colour, creamy white foam head and aroma of tropical mango & passionfruit resiny hops. Taste is malt caramel with sweetish juicy tropical fruits & floral citrusy hoppy bitterness. Smooth slightly oily mouthfeel, light bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy light bitter finish. Very drinkable session IPA.

Cask at the Ale House, Chelmsford. Pours dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma dominated by coconut, with some roasting and chocolate. Very sweet, minimal bitterness. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation. Too sweet for me.

330ml can from a local ASDA Store: poured into an Arrogant Bastard Ale 22oz glass at home on 23rd March 2017. Light amber’ golden body, clean and clear, white head of uneven bubbles. Piney and orangey hops with a caramel maltiness in both the nose and taste. Liked it, easy drinking and heading towards my sweet tooth’s leanings.

Forgot I'd had this the other night. Nice malt-forward ale.

Can. Asda. Deep gold. Soft haze. Film and ring of white head. Nose has paper. Orange rind. Orange pith. Some peach. Soft toffee. Smells great other than the paper thing. It’s like it’s been sat on a windowsill in the sun? Taste is mostly sweet with some pithy, orange bitterness. Decent mouthfeel. Fruity bitterness to finish. Not bad. Pity about those papery notes.

Cask-conditioned at the brewery tap, York, 19/1/2017. Near black in colour, with a decent, beige, head. Light coffee character, some plain chocolate and a touch of oak, before a dryish and toasty finish. Good.
