Description
Grégoire and Max, friends since high school, formed a beer company together in January 2017. As their passion for beer developed they became more and more aware of the power of yeast in the creation of their beverages, and that lead to an interest in other fermentations. They started looking for older recipes, experimenting with cider and other funky fermentations.

Pours dark copperbrown, good to big , creamy white head. Smell is full on the saison yeast. some creamy roastyness. Smells exactly like what you could expect / hope from a black saison. Taste is aromatic, darker malts ( dark bread, mild toast, some roast, very distand cocoa. Mild bitterness. very minor spicyness from the saisonyeast, but less than expected. Not bad.

Thank you! 330 ml. bottle sampled. I love how it says brewed in Brussels despite being brewed at Millevertus which is no way anywhere near brussels, sigh. Clear golden, disappearing white head. Nose is very soapy plastic, BE esters, fizzy, low chemical. Far too carbonated. Fizzy banana, chemical, esters, soap, esters,…. Very Belgian indeed but not for me but definitely still excusable.

Opens with a big relief of pressure. The pour is unclear, darker blonde. Head is pretty big, but I anticipated for worse. Scent is bit dry, peppery notes form the saison yeast. mild intensity. Some hay. taste is full, pretty intense. Hay, mild residual sweetness. Some of the saison yeastyness. Big maltyness towards the ending. too high carbo for me. Pretty decent saison.
