Cask at Sheffield Tap. Pours black with beige to tan foam. Aroma: chocolate, coffee, mild charcoal. Light to moderate sweet & moderate bitter. Light to medium body, smooth with fine carbonation.

440ml can from Wobbly Aleways. Pale golden colour, bubbly white foam head and aroma of grain, citrus, hops. Taste is pale malt, grain, biscuit with yeast & fruit notes, and citrusy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying tangy bitter finish. Quite drinkable

Half cask at Sheffield Tap. Cloudy golden pour, creamy white head leaves lacing that coats the glass. Fruity aroma, banana, pears. Taste almost recalls a weizen, fruity, banana bread. Abrupt, dry finish.

Can bought at Greyfriar, Reading. Aroma is resinous, malty. Quite tart citrus. Slightly opaque amber. Foamy white head. Heavy bitter. Resinous. Citrusy. However there's also a sugary fruit sweetness. Spice. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Good stuff.

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A bright pale amber pour with a loose white head; herbal hop aroma; lip smacking, full of resinous green hops with a sweet grainy body; then a gentle, lengthy herbal bitterness with a touch of yeast. An English blonde that looks good and tastes good.

Can from LCB, unknown expiry date. Light hazed gold with fluffy white top which recedes to a modest retention. Aroma of mango, apricot, orange. Taste of peach, mango, pine and mineral water. Medium bodied, slick but drying finish with late stone fruit noted hop kick.

Aroma: milk chocolate, toffee and roasted malts. Taste: cocoa nibs, toffee and brown bread. Nutty palate. Next one, please!

Gravity cask at the 30th Tamworth Beer Festival, Assembly Rooms, 06/09/24.
Mid brown topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is brown bread, light maple notes, toasted brown sugars.
Taste comprises biscuit, maple syrup, fruit rinds, toffee.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close.
Okay if a little thin.

Draft at the Imp and Angel. Light hazy pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are light sweet and crisp fruity. Light crisp body.
