Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 30A/20C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 1817 (BBF 09.2021). AROMA: medium cocoa notes with faint coffee. APPERANCE: black color and opaque. excessive brown head, creamy, with good retention. TASTE: medium to medium-high cocoa with a low coffee presence. medium-low background of roasted malt. PALATE: medium to medium-high body with initial excessive carbonation. slight alcohol warmth. OVERALL: an imperial stout with added chocolate and coffee a bit unidimensional.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style X3). Bottle 33 cl - Batch LIGA2016 (BBF Abril 2022). AROMA: medium-high wild fermentation with a sour background and caprylic background. faint wood note. Neutral malt. APPEARANCE: gold and clear. thin white head with no retention. TASTE: similar to aroma with a medium-high wild fermentation character (barnyard). faint wood note. neutral malt, slightly sweet, overwhelmed by acidity. low bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a grape ale overwhelmed by wild fermentation characteristics.

Draught, half pint. Tasted on the 13/07/2018 at "Caminha Artbeerfest 2018", Caminha (Portugal). Light orange colour with almost no head. Aroma is vinous, grapes, slightly wood and sulphur. Taste is the same leading to a prominent sulphuric and acidic finish. Next one please!

Bottle @ Lisbeer, Lisbon. Black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with a little alcohol. Oily, soft and smooth. 170718

Bottle from cervejaportuguesa.com. Clear amber with a tiny off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, white grapes, light sulphur and light wood. Flavor is quite sweet and light acidic. Dry and light acidic finish. 140718

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 33A/28A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch B2015 (BBF: SEPT2025). AROMA: medium wild fermentation notes (horse blanket), followed by medium-low wood, sourness, slight malt with a toffee character and faint citrus. APPEARANCE: ambar color and clear. medium ivory head with medium-low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with barnyard, faint citrus and wood and a slightly sweet toffee malt background. medium bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: medium-low body with high carbonation. OVERALL: a nice balanced beer with wild fermentation notes.

AROMA: medium-high Brett-like aroma with stable notes, overpowering a low caramel and bread crust malt background. unbalanced. no wood notes. APPEARANCE: dark rubi color and hazy. excessive head with light brown color. good retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma (brett-like) with a slight acidic note. faint malt background with caramel-like notes. medium-high bitterness with a dry and slightly bitter finish. PALATE: medium body with excessive carbonation. high hot alcohol sensation. OVERALL: a belgian dark strong ale overpowered with wild fermentation characteristics that mask the base beer and the wood.
