Cask at GBBF. It pours clear yellow with a small bubbly white head. The aroma is soft, toasty grain, touch of citrus, light menthol, straw and cereal. The taste is crisp, rather bitter, drying, pithy, zesty, resin, straw, rawness and some white grape with a drying finish. Light body and soft carbonation. Aroma is a bit muted and taste is raw. Decent elements to anyhow.

Smooth malts, some dark malt character, little dark chocolate and coffee. Dry floral chocolate. Dry finish brings a touch of dark fruits and ashy bitterness. Okay. 3.0

Cask at Crown Inn, Dial Post. A light yeasty/malt aroma. Light chestnut. Frothy off-white head. Light bitter. Malty. Berries and burnt caramel. Light bodied. Watery. Noticeable if not overly lively carbonation. Long finish. A decent bitter. Certainly went well with my roast beef.
