Draft: Poured a clear burgundy color ale with a medium off-white foamy head with OK retention and light carbonation. Aroma of caramelized malt with light toffee notes is enjoyable. Taste is also a mix of caramelized malt notes, some toffee with some residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not the most complex offering from the style but enjoyable nonetheless.

Can thanks to Sarah! Pours a clear deep amber with some visible sediment and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has pine and grain with a bit of bread supporting. Flavor is similar with pine, light resin and a grain backbone.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is wheat with significant lemon. Near medium body. Flavor is very lemon, but a hefe aspect is present. Dry. Citrus bitter. Lemon is strong. Tasty, but a bit shocking.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours very dark and ruddy with an off white head. Full bodied. Flavor is mildly tart blackberry with not very smooth dark malt. Not much Belgian yeast/spice. No heat for me. Darkly fruity. Dang nice.

On tap at Chuck's on 85th, pours a deep dark red with a small beige head. Aroma brings out floral notes, berries and some caramel. Flavour brings out caramel, dark fruits, and bready notes. Boozy and caramely, with a fruity finish. Good stuff.

No blackberry to really speak of. But a very drinkable quad. Low esters. Low etoh. Light sweet. Not very nuisanced malt. Noice 838315

I walked about 7 miles today. So this beer is perfect. Light bitter at the end. Very clean and low malt. Dull usually but great right now.

This one isn’t for Berko. Just had to have this beer. It’s nicely sour cherry atop a very decent Belgian.

On tap at McKay's, pours a hazy golden with a small beige head. Aroma brings out gentle honey and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with honey, cereal and straw. The honey is actually pleasant, with a soft biscuity finish.
