Bottle, 75cl corked. A well-sparkling faintly hazy pale yellow to straw colored cider with a thin, creamy, white head. The aroma is sweetish-fruity with a good promise of acidity. Apple and a good dash of pear, some alcohol and yeast and a touch of apple cores in the aroma. It's effervescent and dry on the palate, medium bodied and lightly warming, with an apple driven finish. Some pear and lemon juice like notes, alcohol, apple cores and a touch of bark. Long acidic finish where some fruity sweetness lurks in the back. Took me a couple of sips to appreciate this one, and it's perhaps a bit too straight forward, but sure a decent one. 240308

KYGGE 2204.23. Dark golden color with no head. Aroma is apple, sugar. Flavor is apples, sugar, fruit, floral, lemon. Very nice.

750 ml dark green corked & caged bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8%. Extremely pale straw colour, pours sparkling with a large but shortlived white head. Nice aroma of Gravenstein apples, a hint of sulphites. Fresh flavour of Gravenstein, semi-dry, pleasant to drink, a hint of sulphites again.

375 ml square bottle, vintage 2022, from Vinmonopolet Odda, at an outrageous price. ABV is 10%. Apple varieties are Summerred, Aroma and Gravenstein. Still ice cider, deep golden to orange colour. Aroma of apples, some of them oxidised, concentrated apple juice. Very sweet and lovely flavour of concentrated apple must / juice / cider.

Dec. 2021: 750 ml corked & caged green bottle, batch #2020-01, from the cidery. ABV is 9%. Clear and very pale golden colour, pours sparkling with a shortlived white head. Aroma of ripe and over-ripe apples and applecores. Medium dry flavour with the same elements. A hint of sulphites.

Medium sweet flavour with the same elements as the aroma, some fruity acidity, hints of tannins and sulphites. Pleasant to drink.
