Description
Lenton Lane began brewing in 2014 under the name Frontier, after taking over the brewing plant at the Flower Pot pub, Derby. Lenton Lane changed its name in 2016 and relocated to a purpose-built brewery in Nottingham using a 10-barrel plant.

Beers brewed with flavourful malts and plentiful amounts of good hops. Beers with character, brewed by award winning brewers, crafted for beer drinkers.

We're small enough for our beers to be brewed with taste and flavour - not cost as a bottom line. Big enough to deliver consistent, premium, quality cask and bottled real ales.

Handpull cask at the Salmon, Leicester. Lightish gold and clear with very little head. Grapefruit, marmalade, hints of lychee on the nose. Bittersweetctaste, white grapefruit to the fore with bitter hop oils coating the back of the throat to the finish. Medium body, not a lot of carbonation. Nice.

Liverpool FC's training ground has a complimentary quote from Johan Cruyff written on its wall, from after a match he played against them. Drinking this whilst watching them against PSG, although I have no love for them. Golden, decent body but soft in texture so quite easy. Hopped with light sweet tropical fruit notes in both aroma and taste.

Cask (gravity) at Alexandra, Derby. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with no head whatsoever. The aroma is bland and sweet with malts and a hint of nuts. In the mouth it is sweet and somewhat watery. Flavour has liquorice, malts and gravy with traces of alcoholic strength. Hints of lactose and cola later. Finish is slightly dry. Somewhat disappointing.
