22 June 2020. At Cafe Frape, Maastricht. Shared with the lovely Anke! Clear golden with a lasting, small, foamy, white head; some lacing. Aroma of yeast, apple peel, pear, peanut, biscuit, breadcrust. Taste has sweet apple & pear, touch of sour citrus, quite some yeast pairing with bready maltiness; softly bitter grassy hops in the finish, plain malty & yeasty still. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Lacking some hoppy 'fragrance' to really qualify as an IPA, disappointed.

[Thank you for sharing!][Sampled draft @ O.B.E.R. Kerstbierfestival 2016] Dark red amber cough syrup, tanned head. Nose is sweet cooked vegetables, sugar, plastic, stale vegetable leaves. Taste is plastic, vegetable, metallic, herbal, plastic, vegetable, roots. Body is thin, vegetable, metallic, sugar. Interesting style for a Belgian Christmas beer, sadly the result was strongly unpleasant for me.
