Sahtipaja tasting @ kwartje. Hazy golden, sweet honey quite strong spicy burnt pepper, sweaty sock. Big sweet, massive spicy, quite risiculous really. Full body and low carbonation. Ridiculous stuff. Sahtipaja tasting @ kwartje. Bottle. Dark brown with no head. Massive boozy and rusty, big alcoholic, dark forest honey sweetness. Quite sweet with sour rusty edges. Moderate bitter. Medium body and low carbonation.

Sahtipaja tasting @ kwartje. Bottle. Dark chestnut and white ring head. Big sweet honey and rusty old raspberries, big sweet and light bitter. Full body and low carbonation. Sweet and massive fruity? Softer than the regular red skull but less outspoken raspberries. Don’t really taste the licorice aromawise but it has a mildening effect on the booziness. Lovely.

(Draught at Billie's Bier Kafétaria, Antwerpen, 18 Oct 2018) Very pale yellow colour with brief, white head. Fruity, spicy nose with notes of cinnamon, apples, grass and honey. Fruity taste with apples, cinnamon, vanilla, honey, grass and herbs. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Sparkling carbonation on the tongue. Tasty and quite refreshing. quite nice.
