0.33 l can from 'Rebelbeercans'. A bit hazy, deep reddish amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, gently smoky, slightly fruity-resiny aroma of caramel, orange jam, pine and a touch of smoked ham. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently fruity-resiny and slightly smoky taste of caramel, smoked ham, pine, honey and orange jam, followed by a short, gently bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Interesting beer, rather piney than smoky, rather americanised.

Blik gedeeld met Roelzie. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een volle bruinige schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van gebrande mout, chocolade en hop. De smaak is vol, hoppig, chocolade en zoet.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 13 Aug 2023) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit, resin and biscuits. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, grapefruit, resin, mixed fruit, white bread, herbal hops and a generous citric/resiny bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Fresh, juicy and hoppy. Very nice.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 12 Aug 2023) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with bread, hay and mild smoky aromas. Malty, slightly smoky taste with notes of bread, cereal, citrus, grass, smoked ham and a mild grassy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, with a gentle smoke touch. Nice one.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 11 Aug 2023) Hazy yellow colour with frothy, tan head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of citrus, bread, peaches and tropical fruit. Malty, fruity taste with white bread, citrus, grass, hay, tropical fruit and a balanced citric/tropical bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing, with a fresh hop profile. Nice one.

Volgensw mijn blikje een 8.% DDH Saison. Goudkleurig helder bier met schuim dat snel wegszakt. Smaak is bitterzoet en fruitig met iets van gras, wat hars, appel, vanille en sinaasappel. Prima bier.
