Description
Black Storm, where passion and artistry meet to create unforgettable craft beer experiences. Our journey kicked off with late-night brewing sessions and hard work to meet our dream of delivering the finest, premium craft beers that will captivate your taste buds and elevate your beer-drinking experience, all crafted and brewed in the North east of England.

Black Storm started in late 2017. The beers were initially contract brewed at Hadrian Border Brewery. In Spring 2019 the former site of Blackhill Brewery was purchased located at Unit 14 Stella Gill Industrial Estate, Pelton Fell and started brewing at it. Relocated in early 2022 to their current site. During Spring 2023 new management took over the brewey and started activities as Black Storm Beers. Same beers, same brewers, NEW management

440ml can from LowCostBeer: BBE May 2022. Drank at home on 2nd May 2022. Hazed golden body, decent white head that hung around for a while. Fruity yet also a bit un-fruity, not too sure I'm into Kveik, orange like aromas and flavours saved the day for me.

440ml can from LowCostBeer: BBE September 2022. Drank in the afternoon sunshine on my patio on 15th April 2022. Poured a slightly misty golden colour with sediment suspended in the body, moving neither up or down, just sitting there; the head a white affair that turned to a wisp and collar pretty quickly. Rotting veg and female leather bicycle seat aroma; a bit weird even if I say so myself! Taste follows the same lines, leather and decaying vegetables. Must be contaminated surely, no brewery would mean to produce this, even for a good cause!

440ml can from LowCostBeer: BB 1st July 2022. Drank at home on 14th April 2022. Very lively, leapt out the can, hazed light yellow, huge billowing white head, carbonation bubbles rising through the body. Semi-sweet citrus fruits rule to nose and taste. Once it had calmed down I enjoyed the taste and aroma, which is unusual for me with citrussy flavoured beers.

440ml can from LowCostBeers; BBE July 2022, drank at home with some Cottage Cheese and TUC biscuits on 14th April 2022. Clean and clear amber/orange body, white topping, with lacing. Marmalade like aroma with a citrussy ester or too, taste is a little citrus bitter, more grapefruit than oranges in marmalade, drying mouth finish.
