Cask at GBBF '22 day 2, 03/08/22. Black with a good sized tan cap that retains well. Nose is chocolate, charr, brown bread, earthy roast, fruit slice. Taste comprises chocolate biscuit, roast malts, light spice, dried fruit esters. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close. Fine.

Cask at GBBF '22 day 2, 03/08/22. Hazed orange with a good sized lasting off white cap formed of bubbles. Nose is melon, orange zest, grass, citric tinged straw. Taste comprises soft malts, tangerine, light pine nip, melon, grass. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy hop bitterness. Ok cask IPA.

Cask at GBBF 2022 - Olympia. Pours deep brown with a sturdy, foamy beige head. Light-medium sweet flavour with pleasant roast, a little ash, cocoa, earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Balanced finish, nice ashy roast. Sound.

Thin beige head on an amber coloured body. Pithy & floral aroma. Medium bodied, smooth over the tongue with a tickle on the back. Pine, resinous, marmalade & stewed fruit with a pithy grapefruit finish. Great West Coast.

Can from lowcostbeer. Amber colour with an off white head. Aroma and taste are malty stone fruit and slight bitter. Growing bitter taste. Full body.

--Cask at Nag's Head, Reading. -- Clear pale yellow. Aroma of citrus with some elderflowers. Dryish with light body and rounded mouthfeel. Tangerine and slight bread. Borderline watery. Mid bitter finish. Refreshing, but the light side.

Cask at the Alehouse, Reading. Pale gold with a thin white head. Tastes of watery butter with a hint of lemon. Very thin. It's a bit shite but at least it's a new brewery for me and a rare Durham tick.

Cask at Pretty Bricks, Walsall. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with minimal off-white head and good lacing. There’s a pelasant aroma of roasted malts and liquorice. The liquorice comes on strongly in the mouth, along with mint humbug. After a while some smokiness comes through, along with traces of dark fruits and chocolate. Finish has liquorice and malts. This is a top notch porter – very swiggable as well.
