Can in a trade with tfontana. Thanks Tom. Riding the line of freshness with this one. Ha ha ha ha. No not really. 6-10-19. Interesting hop combo. Flavor is white grape, light floral, and displays a nice wheaty backbone. Pretty mellow with soft flavors. A tad better then I thought it would be.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from the brewery. Appearance is cloudy, yellow-orange (a shade more translucent than orange juice) with nice sparkle at the edges of the glass, 2.5-finger width foamy white head with fair retention and trace lacing. Aroma is as label describes--strong citrus and dank fruit--with light pineapple and a whiff of herb. Taste is orange citrus mixed with pineapple/pineapple rind, mild bitter herb. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thick, frothy texture, average-to-lively carbonation and lively sweet citrus kick at the finish with only the lightest bitterness for balance. Would never guess at the ABV--danger, Will Robinson! Overall, nice look, strong aroma and flavor (with flavor being the more appealing of the two) and nice mouthfeel.

Can in a trade with tfontana. Thanks for the opportunity! Aroma shows me White grape, straw, and a mild herb. Flavor is a direct reflection with the herb providing some bitterness. A hint of juice character. Pretty respectable.

Can pour into shaker pint glass. Appearance is cloudy dark yellow-light brown with no sparkle, finger-width off-white head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is herbal, dank, grapefruit. Taste is initial hit of mild herb followed by stronger grapefruit and tail end stone fruit/mild citrus. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, average-to-lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, not a bad IPA by any means (triple or otherwise). Less of a grapefruit bomb than many mosaics and description is accurate that peach/papaya/citrusy mango can only be characterized as hints.

Can pour into pub glass. Appearance is cloudy yellow-light brown with no sparkle, thin ring of off-white head. Aroma is musty clothes hamper, a grape/brut/wine quality with yeast hint that borders on bile. Taste is as aroma. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, I'm not feeling the dishrag/hamper quality of aroma and flavor so not great for me, but Relic is not afraid to experiment and consistently puts out beers that aren't run of the mill. Sooner or later it's going to all come together beautifully.

Can pour into nonic pint glass. Appearance is cloudy yellow-orange with a few sedimentary floaties, nice sparkle at the edges of the glass, 2-finger width crackling (like a soft drink), fizzy off-white head with fair retention and trace lacing. Aroma is floral-fruity-citrus-bread-dough, with a hint of unfinished wort. Taste is white grape, melon with mango and champagne yeast (a la Brut). Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with frothy texture, average carbonation and dry, crisp finish of yeast, minimal bitterness and hint of sweet grape. Overall, hard to pin down and different in a somewhat unwelcome, and perhaps unintentional, way.

Roast, and some vanilla. Rich dark chocolate. Black oily pour with oily texture. See caramel. Bittersweet end. Rich stuff. Can.

A little too sweet. Also very hungover, so that's not helping.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from the brewery. Appearance is deeply hazy with tons of fine floatie particulates, mild sparkle, finger-width foamy off-white head with fair retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is candied sugar, orange, Taste is strong orange, cantaloupe, candied sugar. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, soft-to-average carbonation and mostly sweet finish with light bitter balance. Overall, fairly juicy without the typical lemony citrus/tropical fruit/grapefruit triad. Fairly straightforward without a lot of nuance but enjoyable.
