Pours deep gold into a shaker. Off-white head with little retention recedes to skim surface. Ttropical fruit aromas. Soft with hot caramel, mango and pineapple upfront turning to grapefruit pith and bitter earth in the hot, lasting finish.

Draft Extreme Beer Fest 2016. Aroma shows very low level of dry hopping, sour wheat and salt.

Flavor is light. Body is very close to watery. Sour wheat base with a mild tartness. The hops are not really shown in the flavor at all. I was really wanting some Nelson hops here. Sea salt comes in at the finish like it should. Very high, frizzy carbonation. Overall not flawed or off in any way, just very light.

Thanks to Willrunforbeer on this 12 oz. bottle. Bottled on 2015/11/04. Color shows a dark brown color with ruby highlights when held to he light, no head. Aroma is different; coffee, roasted grain, light dark fruit. Ok, ok raisins...

The flavor is close to every other "dark" saison I have ever sampled. Belgian yeast is overly spicy character mixed with roasted barley, citrus and ends on a spicy and astringent after taste. To much herbal character with the roast just doesn’t work for me. It may not be the brew, just my dislike for the hybrid style.

12 oz. bottle purchased at Julio’s Liquors. Hazy orange color, some lasting head in a standard shaker glass. I always consume my brews at a warmer temperatures. With this I couldn’t get anything other the weak ale yeast and orange marmalade. No bold hop flavors at all.

The bottle neck did have a bottle date but on this bottle it was smudged. The overall feel is very malty with the hop profile feeling very muted. Some mild pine bitterness does show in the finish. The malty sweet marmalade makes me believe this is an older bottle. I paid $3.79 for this bottle and it’s hard to say if I will ever try to grab a fresher sample. Oh well.

12 oz. bottle purchased at Julio’s Liquors. Cloudy yellow in appearance with bubbly full head. Aroma is pretty nice, mild honey, light bready malt and floral American hops.

Floral hops with a honey and malt base. Fruity hints. It does give a mild tropical fruit feel. The bitterness is assertive with lasting long after the swallow. It rides the line of abrasive, like a very fine line. It’s ok and my 1st beer from this Brewer.

Thanks to ElManana+1! Bomber sampled @ “Tim’s orgasmic Trillium tasting”. Hazy golden with a creamy white head (that is about the extent of good things that I can say about this beer). Nose is weird to say the least, overly milky, mineral, vegetable notes & even some herbal chocolate, nasty, spoiled,… A bad mishmash of unpleasant & heavily conflicting smells. Taste is sadly even worse, close to revolting. Tastes of spoiled murky yeast, rotting vegetables, aspirin, medication, rotting dough,… Just awful, spoiled, I cannot even deem this one as being funky, this is spoiled, rotting, vegetable, awfully milky. Body is fizzy, mineral, milky in an awful way. I dare to say that they just bottled a spoiled batch as “farmhouse” saison. Dear lord help them if they intentionally made this. Even by infected beer standards this is awful. Possibly the worst American beer I have had so far.

16/X/15 - 1Pt. 6Fl. Oz. bottle @ home - BB: n/a, bottled: 1/X/14 (2015-1478) Thanks to Elmanana+1 for sharing the bottle!

Clear orange beer, creamy irregular beige head, unstable, falls down to a small layer of foam quickly, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet, malty, chemical, band-aid, weird, funky. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: yuck, omg this is bad! Dirty, sourish, funky, really bad, disgusting stuff. Total drain pour!

Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. The nose is heavy on the esters, with some doughy wheat and lemon, too. Medium to big sweet flavor with some tasty melon, bubblegum, wheat bread, light alcohol. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish with pleasant citrus and melon notes, very slight plastic, passion fruit. Not bad overall.
