16 ounce can. Light gold color. Frothy white head. Dank citrus and pine hop nose. Flavor is light biscuit malt upfront. Ripe mango notes lead to pine hops in finish. Nicely complex with good balance.

Enjoyable beer. Not as dank as I'd like.

Can pour into tulip glass from the source. Appearance is hazy, brilliant golden yellow with minimal sparkle, finger-width foamy white head with fair retention and light soapy lacing. Aroma is tropical fruit, dank; citrus and light herbal contributions as it warms. Taste is mix of fruit and dank earth, hint of citrus. Palate is medium bodied with thick, smooth texture, average carbonation, nice alcohol warmth and mainly dank, bitter finish. Overall, decent. Likely a bit restrained/different from fresh batch as this was 5 months old. Will need to try fresh and re-rate.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Andover Liquors. Appearance is cloudy, dark yellow with nice sparkle, less-than-finger-width fizzy white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is fruit with musky herbs, dank leaves. Taste is grape, light fruit and crackery yeastiness. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, average carbonation and dry finish as taste. Overall, divergence between the aroma and taste but neither is thoroughly appealing. It's a more interesting APA, which the can says it is, than an IPA.

Can pour into nonic pint glass. Appearance is cloudy orange-light-brown-yellow with fair sparkle, finger-width foamy white head with poor retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is dank, light herb, whiff of mild fruit. Taste is straw, dank vegetation, herbs, light fruit. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, lively carbonation and mix of dank earthy bitter and mild sweet finish. Overall, lives up to the dank billing. Well crafted with some decent complexity but not in my wheelhouse.

Bottle a tight home in Canaan, NH - picked up at the brewery. Pours deep brown with a billowing, foamy khaki head. Effervescent. Fun aroma, a touch of oxidation, roasted malts, Belgian yeast, toasted caramel. Medium sweet flavourbwith more caramel, toffee, dried fruits, mellow roast, earth, brown bread. Medium bodied with lively, massaging carbonation. Finishes with nips of cocoa, ash, more roast, burnt toffee, leathery berries. Rather enjoyable overall.

Pours hazy mango into a shaker. Bright white head with medium retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Papaya and pineapple aromas. Sweet with hot caramel, mango, pineapple and papaya front to back with a hot dusty resin finish.

4 oz. draft at EBF Boston, MA. 3 February, 2018.Subtle vanilla, light chocolate, light booze. Flavor is very light vanilla, subtle chocolate, without any bourbon. The texture is very thin. Body is leaner in comparison to almost every stout I had at this festival.. They do have the right idea here.

EBF 2018: pours black with a beige head. Aroma is roasty malt and dark chocolate. Taste is coffee, dark chocolate and tons of malt. Quite good. If not a real Baltic.
