On tap at Crowbar, Oslo. Slightly hazy golden with a white head. Fruity and yeasty aroma with spicy notes, ripe apples, hints of pepper and soap. Moderate sweet with nice fruity and Belgian yeasty flavours, some acidity and a fairly dry and slightly spicy finish. Medium+ body with fairly average carbonation. Tasty and refreshing!

Bouteille 75cl, BB 22/05/2020, bottled on 03/2014. De couleur dorée laissant un col blanc moyen. Arôme offre un plaisant parfum boisé couplé aux effluves fruitées de Chardonnay. Ce dernier est ponctué par un apport modéré du brett, qui pour une fois n’est pas dominant, ainsi que d’un joli côté fleuri et épicé. La caractère du vin ressort bien. Palais reste rustique avec une influence belge dans l’usage des grains. AU niveau levure, on garde de suite l’impression de levure sauvage - brett qui enlève un peu de ce caractère. L’effervescence reste haute avec un palais grains assez épais et un ajout fruité qui donne une belle dimension à cette bière. Retrouve des notes vertes de houblons nobles qui percent tout de même et malgré le profil renforcé de la barrique et de ce léger brett.

Bottle - Floral, sweet, herbal, grassy and bitter. Cloudy light yellow with a decent white head. Herbal, sweet grassy and bitter. Nice and lots of flavor.

75cl bottle @ the 11th Shrewsbury Bottle Share, Feb 15. Pours a deep dark brown, almost black with minimal off-white had. Taste seems a bit muddled, lacking clarity and definition. Sour aspects appear dulled. Not sure it should’ve ended up like this. Disappointing.

Bottle at RBWG 2015 in Tampa, Grand Tasting. Hazy straw color, white head. Nice aroma of lightly dusty fruit. Taste is very funky fruit. Nice.

0.75 litre bottle shared on 17th Feb 2015. Bottled on 29 Aug 2014, BBD 29 Aug 2020. Sour with a vinegar feel, not for me, I am no brett fan. Deep, dark brown body with a thin off-white head. A sour puss of a beer with a herbal twist and although everyone else (the other four) liked it I stood my ground and said what it really tasted like.

Keg at Brewdog Shepard’s bush. Aroma is lovely zippy floral lime lemon citrus, hint of sharpness, floral kaffir lime, perfume and a little soapy lavender. Very pale yellow / straw coloured pour with a light haze and a thin white head. Flavour is crisp pils base grain, then big floral lavender, hibiscus, zippy lemon / lime. Little straw. Bags of flavour. Very refreshing. Lovely crisp dry finish. Lingering floral pollen and lemon. Palate is light and refreshing, highish carbonation.

Keg at the hanging bat. Pours hazy pale gold, thin white head. Aromas of lemon, bread, light spice, yeast. Taste is more of the same, sharp, tangy. Dry finish.

Bouteille 75cl, BB 29/08/2026, bottled 29/08/2014. Premier aspect décevant étant donné que la bière était passée au delà du bouchon pour être entre ce dernier et la capsule, donc un problème d’étanchéité. Je craignais l’infection mais la bière s’est avérée en bonne condition. Brune foncée, col épais moka retombant assez vite. Arôme donne de suite un caractère typique de brett accompagné de malts grillées, caramel et d’un léger fruité noir. Le tout restant assez rustique. Palais garde de part son côté rustique ce rappel de saison belge mais compensé par des malts anglais qui ajoutent un profil sec et terreux prolongés par un généreux côté chocolaté. Le boisé de Chianti est quais imperceptible dont seul le brett reste présent. Le tout présente un petit côté cendré avec une douceur modérée de lactose. Sur la fin, le côté vin ressort plus avec une bière arrivant à t° de pièce.
