I don’t care what no Ratebeer site says, this stuff is called "Modra Luna" at the Beer Museum in Prague. So, blueberries - another fruit-ish beer. This one is badly made with a weak blueberry flavour arching over everything else. I think it’s a price point thing, but these kinds of beers should be much more exciting rather than a watery mess. But hey, maybe that’s just the beer snob in me talking.

This is a solid wheat beer and well balanced with no cloying effects. Nicely made from a Czech brewer and easily drinkable.

BOTTLE 50 CL. BB 02-SEP-2015. Clear deep red, beige head. Aroma is lightly toasted malts, white loaf as well as sweet bread notes. The taste is simple and the body is quite thin. A touch of malts, lightly toasted, light to moderate bitter finish with, again, some burnt notes that feel a bit harsh. Decent.

(Thx! for sharing) Sampled bottled @ Gents Bierfestival 2015. Golden / orange, little white head. Nose is pure butter with some dough & touch pepper. Taste is butter, dough, oil, touch floral, butterscotch,… Oily & bit watery body. Further confirms my suspension that the Czech like butter-flavoured beers. Not my cup of tea.

On tap in Bratislava, SK. Dark gold color, average white head. Sweet malty taste with hints of honey and some grassy notes and cardboard. Medium body. Sugary taste, light bitterness. Powerful lager, quite ok, a syrupy one.

Sample @ 6de Gents Bierfestival 2015. Dorée, col fin blanc crémeux. Arôme rappelle les grandes lignes des pils et autres lager européennes. Note maïs, basique, bouquet fin houblon noble type Saaz. Palais est malt pils type Weyermann, très européen pour une effervescence haute, le tout sur pas mal de houblons nobles apportant une fine amertume. Reste correcte.
