Bottle, 12C. Black with a large light tan head that lasts well. Aroma of mocha, alcohol, tar, molasses. Much sweeter and more chocolatey than suggested by the aroma. Molasses, oak, an odd but not unpleasant herbal note. There’s a little tar and coffee astringency at the end but the main chocolatey sweetness hangs around. Unfocussed stout smudged by loads of sweetness and booze.

Sample from 75 cl. bottle. Muddy, amber colour with a thin, white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, fruits, yeasts and spices. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and fruity with spices.

Bottle from Ales by Mail. Amber pour with a white head. Rich floral and citrus nose. Nice. Oozes booze in the flavour. Tongue tingling flavours of bitter citrus and fresh herb. Quite a throat warmer. Huge, boozy finish. Exceedingly tasty.

Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and over ripe fruits, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle@Yespr’s - fuzzy golden pour with white head. Aroma and taste is citrus and tropical fruity, some satsuma, lemon, peachy, some grassy and floral action going on, interesting brew, also getting the saison/ Belgian pale vibe here. Nice.

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small off white head. Aroma is fruity, peachy and lemonish. Smooth fruity. Toasted malty. Toasted and light fruity. Bitter and slight herbal. Medium dry finish. Mellow orange and coriander finish.
