Draft pour into shaker pint glass. Appearance is clear light orange with no sparkle, finger-width foamy off-white head with fair retention and no lacing. Aroma is citrus, floral, earth, over malt backbone. Taste is as aroma, with late bitterness. Palate is light-to-medium bodied, frothy texture, lively carbonation (stinging with spicy food) and mostly bitter finish. Overall, not as fruity and sweet as I was expecting. Fairly standard West Coast IPA.

(Bottle) Pale amber colour with lasting, frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of orange peel, dried apricots, coriander, honey, spices and buttery malt. Fruity, spicy taste with orange peel, apricots, coriander, honey, toffee, butterscotch, soft bready malt and a mild spicy bitterness. Medium body, mainly dry. Soft and rounded mouthfeel. South-west California beer that's not massively hoppy? And it works. Tasty, well balanced and harmonious. Nice one.

12 oz bottle (bottle conditioned) from Newport's Farms Market, Ocean Beach San Diego. Poured into a La Chouffe stemmed tulip glass on 20th Jan 2018 at my daughters while on holiday in California. Cloudy golden body, full white head. I can't remember ever having a cloudy Kolsch before, anyway this was. Aroma of straw and not much else, tasted of grains and not much else, not impressed.

Bouteille de 650 ml. Olfactif aux notes de foin et de pain, très légèrement miellé. Légers houblons herbacés en sourdine. Un filet de mousse qui disparaît rapidement sur un liquide doré / ambré très clair. Entrée de bouche plutôt maltée qui se décline en délicate amertume herbacée soutenue par une longueur persistante. Notes de pain et de foin, d'herbes fraiches. De corps moyen et d'effervescence douce, elle s'avère délicate et croustillante.

Tap. Pours lightly hazy golden yellow, large fluffy white head, good lacing. Aroma is grassy, straw, grain. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, hint of citrus. Light pls body.

KRS 110317. THX to Bergstaden. Black color wit a small tan head. Aroma is rum, wood, spices, sugar. Flavor is rum, wood, spices, coffee, chocolate, sugar, soy sauce, alcohol, raisin, roasted malt, oxidation. Full body. Very complex nice beer.

Aroma is coffee dark malt toasted coconut burnt sugar. Flavor is like nose coffee comes through a little stronger sweet up front slight, bitter finish. Great body and finish. Extremely drinkable.
