Bottle split at Level 42, massive thanks to Leighton, 20/10/16. Murky orange with a decent off white head. Nose is watermelon, dank notes, straw, grapefruit, pine, skunky hops. Taste comprises sticky trops, grapefruit, pine, citric tinged straw, dank strokes, melon, tangerine, mandatin. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dank hop finale. Xolid easy drinking DIPA ... way lower than the suggested ABV.

Can shared in London - picked up via trade in the US. Pours murky gold with a frothy, white head. Yep, big and juicy in the nose, lots of tangerine, pale malts, mango, papaya. Medium sweet flavour with more plump, juicy hop character, buckets of mango and papaya, fresh tangerine, orange, peach. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with faint piney resin, lots more chewy orange, fleshy tangerine, melon, mango. Definitely does what it says on the tin. Wonderful juice bomb. Super drinkable.

Can, massive thanks to LKS at level 42. It pours murky dirty blonde with a thick, foamy white head #turbid. The aroma is fresh, juicy, peachy, nectarine, orange muffin, marmalade, candy and fruit salad sweets. The taste is smooth, crazy juicy, mellow bitterness, tangerine, orange, grapefruit, mild spice, green, grassy and dank with a dry, juicy finish. Well - rounded and juicy. Tasty and juicy hop juice.

Dark, milk chocolate brown body with darker mahoganies and a light tan head atop that shows moderate retention. Clarity not determined.
Vanilla-tinged milk chocolate plays against light acidity from roasted barley/malt as plums, raisins and prunes all swim up slowly from the malty depths. Fudge, vanilla cream, caramel - it’s all here and yet I find this much more balanced than any of the "Shot" series beers. Not as much of a lactose character, or perhaps it’s just masked better by the cocoa? Not sure, but the balance here is superb with velvety, gooey fudge and chocolate nicely balanced by dry vanilla and coffee-like acidity. No alcohol or flaw.
If it seems aromatic and balanced from the nose, it’s even more so in the flavor. Rich, velvety fudge and vanilla notes are balanced by a prune, espresso and burnt toffee acidity. Intensely soft texture with low but tight carbonation. Sweet, at times, but still showing ample attenuation. Not nearly as much lactose as the Shot series, I’ll reiterate, and I love it for that. Milk and dark chocolate notes lingering with fruity and earthy coffee. Wonderfully drinkable and surprisingly balanced.

Good clarity throughout this maple-mahogany body with a dark beige head atop showing strong retention.
Hazelnut and walnut-laden specialty malts are balanced nicely against light honey-vanilla and moderate caramel-toffee. There’s a kiss of pine sap, lots of spicy, green hop character and zero resin or alcohol. Soft and mild with low roastiness and a touch of moderate fruitiness on the end - plums, raisins, currants. Clean, mineral and ester-rich yeast complements the nutty and fruity malts, while the hops help add some zestiness without unbalancing what should be a malt-forward style.
Creamy-sweet malts are nonetheless well-attenuated, with a spicy and herbal element from the hops. Caramel, walnut, currant, plum are all evident here and provide a very by-the-books brown ale. Tight carbonation and not too much influence from the specialty malts on the texture (ie. it’s not hard and iced tea-like). Low bitterness, but enough to balance the malts gently. No alcohol or flaw. Soft, malty, fruity and low on the roast and bread. Reminds me a lot of Hill Farmstead’s George.

Thoroughly hazy, light, pale-golden body is topped by a medium-sized white head showing moderate to moderately-strong retention.
Nose is just phenomenally understated. It takes a while to come on, but slowly a lushness unfolds of mossy, green, mineralesque Nelson notes, full of lime and lemon skin, light grape and balanced by a soft, honey-laden malt. The citra adds a more direct, orange-tangerine brightness that, I think, actually helps bring out and highlight the Nelson notes, as the hops are quite different and it’s fairly easy to pick each out. Unbelievably aromatic, as usual for Tree House, with zero resin, no obnoxious malt to get in the way and no alcohol or flaw.
Soft, dry, tightly carbonated and full of green, dank, mossy Nelson mixing with juicy, tangerine and orange-like citra notes. Quite the combo and even though I love Galaxy and Mosaic, I this might be my favorite combination of two hops. The juiciness isn’t nearly as watermelon-flavored as it usually is with Tree House, but rather it’s full of lime and citrus. Ultra-soft, with just a hint of honey from the malt and lingering tangerine, nectarine, mango and lime. No resin, but ample bitterness to balance. Such masters!
