On tap at the Charleston Brewvival on 02/27/2010. Cloudy orange body with a large rocky white head. Pale malt, caramel and fruit aroma. Pale malt and grassy hop flavor. Medium body with moderately low carbonation.

Bottle via trade from decaturstevo. Pours clear amber. Nose of ftuit, grass and Belgian yeast. Taste of Belgian yeast, fruit, malt and caramel.

on tap pours hazy light amber with a medium off white head. Aroma is pine and citrus hops. Flavor is sweet biscuit malt and hay with a light bitterness. Not as balanced as I like, but refreshing.

Tap at Birreria Paradiso. Clear amber, thin white head, great lacing. Subtle scotch aroma, taste is metallic with a hint of cardboard.

Bottle Thanks to Jake65 Pours out dark brown topped with a tan head. Aroma is of roast malts, brown sugar, smoke, and some chocolate. Taste is more of the malts, sweetness, pit fruit, and a nice smoke finish.

12oz bottle. Foggy amber-brown color, minimal oily head. Spicy, pungent amber malt and resiny, piny hop aroma. A rather well done Amber, with some chewy hop character and a steady malt backbone that brings to mind a full bodied American ESB. Rather astringent and bitter up front. Sugary crystal malts in the finish. OK, but not one I’d actively seek out again.

Purchased in Nashville on my trip there. Pours a clean copper colour with a beautiful creamy beige head that has great retention and lacing. Hardly any carbonation. Full aromas of dark fruits (dates, raisins), malts (caramel, roasted) and nuts (hazelnuts, almonds). Crisp refreshing mouthfeel and medium-bodied. The hops shows up in the taste (not too bitter) but more flavourful. Nutty, caramel, roasted, bready and buttery (but all in a soft way). A really nice easy-drinking amber ale that has a great full nose.

maybe i got a bad beer, and im hoping that was the case, but this was like a macro trying to be cool, ie "blue moon". bland lager flavor thats way too carbonated, no real distinctive flavor or character, a drain pour, not even good for a lawnmower beer.
