Bomber from the Folsom, CA BevMo. Pours hazy orangy gold with a white head. Aroma is fruit; brings melon to mind. Underlying caramel seems oxidized? Maybe not. Lots of body. Mild but firm carbonation. The malt is very slighty roasty, and the hop is a mix - melon/pine/earth/citrus? I’m liking it; it’s getting more earthy with time. Wondering if this spent some time in a warehouse? Making me think of overaged IPA. Or something like Fuller’s Vintage Old Ale. Still whatever the age is, it is still a tasty drink IMHO.

Bomber from the Nugget in Woodland, CA. This is part of the "DIM" (Does it Matter) series. Does it matter where hops are grown. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma is grassy/spicy/citrus. Full bodied. Flavor is citrus/spicy/grassy. The malt is mildly roasty, and gives an impression of sweet, but it is very dry I’d say. Pretty strong flavors. Gets a bit fruity with time.

Can. Pours a dark brown color with a small tan head. Has a fruity malty slightly roasted hoppy caramel aroma. Roasted malty caramel hoppy flavor. Has a slightly roasted malty hoppy bitter caramel finish.

Can from Firma Bier, cluster & cascade, large sample. Hazy golden color, medium frothy head. Aroma of grainy malt, soft spicy, grassy hoppiness, slight fruity. Medium bitter in taste, crisp, citrus, grapefruit, cereals, some sweetness. It has the crisp cleanliness of a lager, but the citrussy power of an IPA. Seems like an IPL to me.

0,355l can at home. No obvious BB date. almost black color, small tan head. smells quite nice fruity / herbal, grapefruit, grass, light notes of mango, very light sweetness, some earthy notes, lovely fresh smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of grapefruit, a bit citric, lemon grass, light notes of licorice, spices, quite a bit of grass. finishes rather fruity and only very light bitter with notes of grapefruit, lemon grass and a very light sweetness. quite lovely beer, taste is rather light especially considering the ABV, but this makes it easily drinkable. also not overly complex but still quiet enjoyable. finish gets a bit boring when warm.

Bomber from Corti Bros. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma seems citrus/earthy/floral - slight bite. Med body. Flavor is earthy/floral and maybe some citrus rind. For me the hop is a bit - unfortunately muddled came to mind - which makes no sense for a single hop ale. I am just having trouble with what should be a simple hop. The malt is just very lightly roasty. It is smooth and bitter, and I think my problem was that I was trying to parse out the citrus rind. Drinks nice!

Corked, but uncaged 375 from Corti Bros. Uncaged? How confident can one get. Cork was very, very difficult to remove! Pours hazy gold with a fizzy white head. Fizzy carbonation. Aroma is somewhat yeasty red berry. It’s a little dry, and it tastes of cabernet to some extent. Quite fizzy. It’s very suggestive of a rose sparkling wine. Quite interesting and different.

Bomber from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent gold with a foamy/creamy white head. Aroma seems a mix of mild resin and light stone fruit. Med body at least. Creamish carbonation. Flavor has a pine/resin hit, but that’s quickly followed by a delicious fruit/floral hoppiness. Mild breadiness for support. It’s really good.
