Bottle my wife picked up at BevMo in Sacramento. Rating #3800! Pours out a clear golden with short lived airy head. Big grainy nose, bread, hay. Taste follows the aroma, mouth feel is slick, a Nd had a nice weight and feel. Minor bite at the finish. Closest I’ve had to the real thing.

Bomber from Corti Bros. Pours gold with a white head. Light fruity aroma - a mix of pale stone fruit with a possible touch of citrus. Very light caramel. Med body or so. Very light fruit flavor with malt that seems to be the pale sort. Possibly the mildest hop in the Test series that I’ve had so far. Far from NW and likely from W Coast, could be like East Coast. Not quite dry. About as unbitter as I’d really like to see - meaning more bitter is better. Still it’s a decent drink.

Bomber from the Natomas BevMo. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Aroma of pale stone fruit backed by a hint of caramel. Med body or better. It’s cluster earthy with pale stone fruit and a citrus type note. Malt is rather toasty for the style IMHO. Still it’s nicely bitter and earthy/fruit works well for me. Clearly off the same ol’ same ol’ path.

Mild gusher. Almost clear gold beer, short lived white head. Palate is light, modest carbonation. Soft malts, sweetish. Very mild hops, super mellow pine and a touch of crystallised orange. Light finish. It’s inoffensive bur Ruhstaller should stop worrying about where their hops are grown and start worrying about putting some in their IPAs!

Bomber shared by Marcus. Pours dark gold with a transient white head. Aroma is lightly tobacco. Lightly fruit. Lightly something! Med body. Flavor is spicy. Something really interesting going on here. In this case different is good. Some robust toasty caramel in support. A new high for the Test series.
