Can from The Davis Food Co-op. Pours moderately hazy with a white head. Aroma has an interesting fruit that suggests white grapes and something a little tart - plus pale stone fruit. Med body. Flavor suggests white grapes, pale stone fruit, a touch of earth and a hint of vanilla? Seems so. A little juicy. Pretty dry. Moderately hoppy. Moderately bitter. The flavor is very nice.

Bomber with burlap wrap from ? Local Grocery? Pours dark brn/blk with a dark tan head. Aromas of chocolate, burnt malt and citrus. Med plus body. Flavor of burnt malt, chocolate, citrus and a light touch of anise. Suddenly there's coffee. Maybe a touch of kandi. It's not dry dry, and the bitterness seems more like burnt malt than hop. Flavors are nice. Nice IS.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours clear dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma reminds of Kraft chocolate caramel. Med body or so. Flavor is citrus hoppy, but there's definitely darkish malt and chocolate. Fairly dry and fairly bitter. Just not sure I like a citrus chocolate mix - in beer anyway. Always liked the big segmented chocolate oranges. With reflection I am wondering whether the citrus isn't a bit zesty.

12 oz. can. Thanks, Joe! Pours black, with a big, fluffy, beige head. The aroma is black coffee, thin cocoa, pine sap, anise, and burnt toast. Sweet and malty, with a sharp, acrid bitterness. Medium body, with a frothy, astringent palate. This is a little harsh and too roasted. Good hop aromas hiding in there, though.
