Bottle. Bright brown color, solid head slightly tan, amost clear, some sediment. Flavor mostly of burnt malts, bark bread, caramel, molasses, decent grassy hops. Relatively thick body and dense texture. It has a 'landbier' feel to it, very malty, smooth finish a bit oily.ok

50cl bottle. Black color, brown head, fading. Roasted grains and coffee. Taste of toasted malts, hints of chocolate and vanilla, toffee, dark bread. Relatively solid body, soft carbonation, dry finish. Taste is medium bitter dry with light balancing sweetness. Quite bitter finish. Body is medium , carbonation is light to medium, with a decent bitterness in the finish.

Bottle. Amber color some sediment thick yellowish head. Flavor caramelized malts, starch, dough, yeast. Quite intensely hopped with grassy and above the average bitterness for the style. Solid medium body, taste a bit santy and somewhat alcaline-mineral, fair bitterness in the finish.

Bottle as Schminlek's Pale Ale. Dark amber color, slight haze, big solid white head lacing. Flavor citrus and caramel, light toasted malts, hints of candy, prominent hops, moderate bitterness not excessive, bit salty, smooth finish.

Bottle. Dark amber copper color, smooth offwhite head. Flavor of caramel malts in the vienna style, solid bready taste with cereals and mild grass, hints of spices and cherry juice, lots of yeast leftover for moderately raw feel and some herbal bitterness. Medium to dense body, soft carbonation, smooth bitter finish.

Schinkels Kellerbier (ja, ohne Deppen-Apostroph), Flasche (MHD: 26.01.23) von Hopfen & Malz im Wedding. - Helles Rotgold, fast klar. - In der Nase leicht karamelliges und zart toastiges Malz mit Nuß und milde, sortenuntypisch blasse hopfenwürzige und orangenfruchtige Hopfung. - Antrunk leicht unfrisch hellmalzig mit milder Karamelnote und feiner Malzsüße. Milde zitrusfruchtige Hopfung geht in leicht ranzige Bittere über. Spritzig rezent, limonadig dünn. Im Abgang leichte zitrusfruchtige Hopfenherbe, unterlegt mit eher derber, unfrischer Bittere. - Auch dieses Schinkel-Bier wirkt wie alle bisher verkosteten unfrisch, obwohl das MHD noch lange nicht erreicht ist. Außerdem ist es für ein Kellerbier zu harmlos gehopft. Enttäuschend. (6.11.2022.)
