Moosiger Nachhall. - Ungewöhnlich aber nicht schlecht. Wirkt allerdings etwas alt bzw. überlagert.

Igazából aki szereti az ilyeneket mint tönköly, alakor, zab, rozs, banán annak ítélni fog. Nekem nem annyira, na jó mégis. Egy kicsit.

Bought two bottles of this from the brewery and took one to the Burning Soul brewery tasting session to share: didnt take to it then. However today (1st June 2017) after some hard labour in the garden my mind has changed somewhat. Poured carefully into a beautiful Hofbrau Haus Munchner Kindl Weizen glass and a full 500ml bottle to myself, I can savour its delights at a slower pace. Very pale, misty golden body and keen to get out of the bottle, huge lines of carbonation bubbles rising through the glass to replenish the already deep snow white head. Yeasty nose with a spicy touch, the head blocking most of the aroma though. The taste was a refreshing one with cloves to the fore, closely followed by a yeasty flavour, some vanilla in the mix too, very little banana for me in this hefeweizen, but a trace if you allow the beer to linger in the mouth. Decent hefeweizen from a decent brewery.

Bottle @ Burning Soul tasting, thanks Jeremy for this! Pours a misty golden yellow, moderate white head. Weiss yeast esters in the aroma. Taste has light weiss characteristics, moderate banana and cloves, perhaps a bit thin with a soft bitterness. Perhaps better as the first beer of the evening, in the sun, than a rainy Birmingham warehouse.

Half-litre bottle at the brauhaus on 12th May 2017. Murky brown pour, beige head. Sweet malty molasses rule this brew in both the nose and taste, light bitterness towards the finish, otherwise the hops just hide. Enjoyed it.

.3 litre glass at the brewery on 12th May 2017. Sat in the early evening sun on their patio area. Third draft beer of the evening, cloudy old gold colour with a decent white head. Hop forward, crisp and very pleasant. Light citrus notes throughout, but not enough to ruin the brew (I am not a citrus flavoured beerman).

.3 litre glass at the brewery on 12th May 2017. Sat in the early evening sun on their patio area. This was the second beer of the evening I tried. Ruby hue to the brown body, beige head on top. Malty brew with a semi-sweet nature, mild herbal notes accompany the malts in both the nose and taste. Liked it.
