Has a faint lemon aroma over top a nice foggy yellow body with minimal head. The flavour is a nice wit mix with a hint of coriander. Medium finish. This is a decent style beer closer to a hefeweizen but I can’t say I noticed the watermelon influence.

As someone who fondly remembers drinking way too much bière de garde while in France I gotta say that this is an epic fail in the appearance department: no yeastiness, no head, just a boring brown lager awaits me in the glass. The aroma as well should be a lot of yeasty and hoppy funk but it’s just a malty lager stink with a hint of sour hops. The flavour is closer, a modest mix of caramel and grain with a hint of sourness that just comes off as odd rather than "garde", shall we say. Okay dry finish. As a beer it’s not bad, as a bière de garde it’s way off.

Draft - Grapefruit and tropical fruit, mango is crazy on this. Cloudy orange with a rich thin head. Grapefruit galore, just so much it is overwhelming. I love it. Rich a long finish, I can't say enough. Well done. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft - Oak, vanilla and chocolate malts. Jet black with a thick brown head. Liquorice, vanilla, oak and coffee. Nice and rich, could use some age but still nice now. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice name, boring beer - no head and just the usual non-carbonated brown-gold body. Aroma is soft hops. Flavour does no justice to the name with only vague hops notes and a watery finish. Drinkable, but uninteresting.

Bottle - Some raisin and a mellow hoppy pine. Dark brown with a foamy but large brown head. Sweet fig, anise and piney hops with very little bitterness. Very odd, but this must be the lager, easy drinking and flavourful but not robust enough to hold my attention.
