Bottle on a 1938 stock train after pissing off the end of the platform next to some other persons turd ... yes its the IOW Jolly Day, bottle from the GBBF, 24/08/14. Light black with a moderate tan covering that retains. Nose is roast malt, dark toffee, light cocoa, brown bread. Taste comprises earthy tones, cocoa, dark toffee, roast malt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with roasty tones. Ok porter, fairly simple stuff but ticks the style boxes.

Bottle from GBBF 2014 and drunk at home. Gold very slight haze, lasting white head. Estery Belgian yeast aroma with a touch of biscuit. Touch of peach and orange. Rather pleasant to be honest. Some hop on the finish. Rather drinkable. Very Belgian authentic. Quite dry. A dry blond Belgian ale. Rather likeable as I say. Just the right level of hop, fruit, esters and dryness. I liked it.

Bottle on the Wibbly-Wobbly train during IoW Jolly. It pours near black with a small light tan head. The nose is rich roast, toast, treacle, cherry cola and mild soy sauce. The taste is roasted malt, toast, earth, cola, cocoa, mild acidity, coffee and chewy malt with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Straight-forward and easy-going. Solid.

Pours dark orange with a thick white head. Aroma of citrusy hops, pine, grass and sweet syrupy notes. Taste is smooth, earthy and mildly grassy with some hoppiness and hints of citrus. Finish is crisp and malty with some earthiness. Okay.

75 cl bottle @ PBF Ⅸ, 10/2014
Aroma is somewhat sweet with berries and caramel tones. Foamy palate. Flavour is sweetish with malty tones, raspberries and slight tartness. Foamy palate. Decent, more like amber ale than IPA.
