Draft - Light soured grains and light fruit. Clear orange gold with a decent white head. Light raspberry, light soap but no tartness. Not nearly tart enough.

Draft @ Rogue Broadway. Dark amber. Thin head, toasty amber, light woody hops, fruity amber with a strong toasty character.

Draught at Stateside Craft, Vancouver
Hazy light amber color with compact head. Lean malts, and some hop quality (resins and fruits); but the elements are not very expressive, and it also has a dusty touch.
A good beer overall, unimpressive though.

Hazy blond color with creamy head. The aroma is lightly vinous. Smooth mouthfeel, lightly papery and spicy, but the flavor is not impressive; stale malts, light fruity touch, wine turning into vinegar, a bit dusty, yeasty; moderately sweet.
I have little patience for these beers.

Draught at Stateside Craft, Vancouver; 8.9% ABV
Black color with creamy beige head. Round, very smooth, with flavor of dark chocolate, coffee, cappuccino; but it’s also a bit dusty and stale; correct bitterness. The final is coffeish, not harsh, with a bit of lactose.
Very nice.

On tap at Stateside, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, earthiness and light fruity floral qualities. Flavour is slightly sweet, with earthy notes, French farmhousr yeast and light floral fruitiness. Decently balanced and brewed to style, just nothing overly special. Decent.

On tap at Stateside, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is rather skunky and herbal, with phenols, apple and caramel. Flavour is very sweet, with caramelized apple, alcohol, and bready notes. About as far away from an authentic tripel as possible. Not my thing at all.

On tap at Portland Craft, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Nose brings out bready malt and light earthiness. Flavour is dry and stale, with earthiness and bready malts. Not good at all. Very weak with off-flavours.

Bottle - Lots of peach and nectarine sweetness. Cloudy gold with a rich white head. Fruity yeast, stone fruit, bubblegum and more of the usual suspects. Not bad, but nothing interesting.
