En bref, La Flaque incarne la nouvelle génération brassicole, prête à faire péter les codes matriciels et à réinventer le chaos.

Can from Beer52 at 5.2%. Pours a hazy dark gold with decent white foam, good retention and lacing. Aroma has a mild citrus, papaya and buttery biscuit like malt. Taste has a mild kveik sharpness, grapefruit zest, minerals. Medium bodied, nice soft carbonation and pillow like mouthfeel, moderate bitterness. Not exactly intense in the hops but good balance and mouthfeel.

Keg at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels. 8th Nov 2025. Pours hazy yellow with white foam. Juicy body with that kveik fruitiness, long bitter finish. My 200th Belgian tick on here.

A: clear golden, thin, white head.
A: sourdough, wet hay, lots of brett, wheat, lime.
T: sour lime, wheat, sourdough.
F: tart lime, stone fruit, funky yoghurt.
P: light to medium body, slick texture, average carbonation.
Back to basics with this one. Okay!

F: big, pink-white, good retention.
C: red gold, light hazy.
A: citrus, light sour fruity, carrot and beetroot touch, bit puckering.
T: light malty base, bit sour fruity, some carrot, citrus, medium carbonation, nice, refreshing.

Tap at Moeder Original. Hazy orange golden with white head. Peach, weedy hops, light herbal, grassy, dry yeast. Medium sweet, a bit more bitter. Medium bodied. Meh.

Tap at Chez Mon Ex. Almost clear golden with big white head. Sweet malts, floral, tangerine, light soupy, dough, almonds, wheat. Medium sweet, less bitter but in a sharp and lingering way, and light sour. Medium bodied. A bit weird but not bad.
