Can shared by CLW--thanks, Chris! Hazy, bright yellow, thin head with fair retention, light lacing. Aroma is strong lemon, dank pineapple--somewhat like dishwashing liquid. Taste is sweet lemon--somewhat industrial, malts. Smooth, mostly frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Am appreciative of the opportunity to have a beer from this recently-closed brewery as I will never have the opportunity again, but this is clearly past its prime and not likely representative of the brewery.

12 oz can. Aroma is floral and malt. This was canned sometime in Aug?? Malta little old, the hops are a little faded. Weak citrus and floral. Not bad, but clearly had seen better days.

Notes from August 2009 On tap at Iron Hill's tent all weekend at BCTC09. Didn't go so well with Captain Lawrence's pulled pork(Should of went with the whit maybe? I dunno.), but it went down fine solo after the lights went off. Hazy yellow & gray, dulled out body. Soft, white film seltzer head. Smells of itchy & bitter fruit peels, along with some mild sourness. Already establishing ahead of time what my favorite kind of Berliner Weiss involves, this one wasn't that bad. Dry & more tart then usual. Significantly dusty/chalky wheat, sour limes. Finish leaves your mouth salivating for something bigger. If I wasn't surrounded by so many other quality beers, I might have just killed someone looking for a bottle of woodruff syrup after my second helping. Excellent beer to start up your palate in the morning. Drinking one soon after brushing your teeth could be dangerous though. :)

Pale yellow, funky clove aroma, slight banana bread smell. Slightly sweet wheat beer taste with the typical spicy clove flavor. A little funk at the finish.

Dark brown colour. Rich fruits on the nose, with a nice oxidized note like a good shaoxing wine - old and fresh at the same time. This has picked up some life over the years, maybe a little saltiness, too. Subtle and complex.

Sampled on draft at the Media location this beer poured a copper color with a medium sized foamy white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was tart and vinegary. The flavor was intensely tart and sour with vinegar and a vague fruity presence. Very long finish. Medium body. Alcohol well contained. Ok.

Bottle that says it is from Delaware; 2012 vintage - thanks dmac! Pours dark dark chestnut, quite small tan head that dissipates pretty quickly leaving a bit of lacing. Aroma is acetic, sharp, wood tannins, tart cherries, rum. Flavor is medium tart, kind of harsh woody vinegar on top of some roasty malt and tart cherry, oak tannins, lingering rum on the finish. Lightish body, low carbonation. Interesting, not great.
