From cask. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is dry citric apples. Smooth fruity and crisp apples. Bitter, dry and mild dulphorish dry. Smooth apples and mild apples into the finish.

Unclear light yellow color with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate pear, pear skin, sweet pear, horse blanket. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, pear, pear skin, green pears, sugary. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130816]

V25 c2 Bottle, from brewer’s own stall at the Thame Food Festival. Very pale greenish gold with a beautiful light sparkle in the mouth. Sweet pears up front with just the right amount of lemon sharpness and cider vinegar sourness to balance. Dances lightly across the tongue leaving a refreshing fruitiness behind. Lovely- wanted more. An excellent perry.

500ml bottle from Kris Wines. Has quite a strange sharp whirlwind of tannins & acidic dryness with a woody farmyard element and additional vanilla, varnish & sawdust. Loved its unique character.
