Moncada Brewery
Microbrewery in London Borough of Brent, Greater London, England 🏴
Established in 2011
Closed in 2021
We began Moncada Brewery in the colourful area of Notting Hill. Julio surrounded himself with like-minded craft beer obsessives and became inspired by the neighbourhood – creative, vibrant and hemmed with diversity – and the Notting Hill beer range was born, which makes up our core range today.
Later, in 2017, we moved to Dollis Hill to expand and explore a new locality. A new place marked a new start, and the Blueprint beer series was launched, focusing on experimentation and limited edition releases, with a touch of eccentricity.
Relocated once more in Spring 2018 to the current address.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Clissold Wines. Slowly gushes from the bottle. Pours unclear golden-orange with a dense, creamy white head. Pleasant citrusy hops in the aroma, some orange rind, pine needles, dried pale malts. Light sweet flavour with further rindy and pithy citrus character, pale and lightly grainy bread. Light bodied with active, massaging carbonation. Fairly clean in the finish, lightly floral, with more rindy bitterness, dry pale malts, lemon peel, grass. Pretty decent overall.

Keg at Ldn Brewers Market. It pours opaque jet black with a medium dense tan head. The aroma is rich, intense, sweet, decadent, massive custard character, donuts, chocolate and in general the smell of America. The taste is rich, slick, dark roast, loads of custard, milk chocolate, donut, toasty, earth, hint of ash, cake, touch of spice and a lick of alcohol with a slick finish. Full body and moderate carbonation. Rich and decadent. Good one.
