Description
Purchased by Tilray in 2022.
Our story started in 1998 with two friends who noticed a lack of fresh beer on Long Island and wanted to lower their bar tabs. We built a brewery on Long Island's South Shore in Patchogue, a tough and humble coastal town.
In 2014, Blue Point partnered with Anheuser-Busch, joining its family of craft brands in The High End business unit. Our operations, brewing and management team continue to be led from Patchogue, N.Y.
In 2019 we opened our new brewery on Patchogue's Main Street. This new facility will not only increase our brewing capacity, but will also lets beer lovers experience the people and place that inspire Blue Point every day. And we're pretty damn proud to be a part of that.

Tap at Rattle n Hum. Pours a cloudy gold with a moderate, white head. Malty aroma with some bread and grassy hops. Flavor is sweet to start with heavy malts then has some earthy, grassy bitterness. Medium in body with average carbonation and a smooth, creamy body. Finishes crisp and lightly sweet. Not bad.

Tap at Rattle n Hum. Pours black with a substantial, beige head. Roasted malt aroma with notes of chocolate and faint berry. Flavor is sweet with rich with more roast and mocha, as well as some understated cherry. Medium to full bodied with very smooth carbonation. Finishes roasty and sweet with some dry bitterness. Quite good.

Tap at Rattle n Hum. Pours a semi-clear amber with a small, off-white head. Enticing malt aroma with lots of raisin and caramel. Sweet flavor with more dark fruits, caramel and some toffee, followed by a delicate bitterness that hides beneath the malts. Medium in body with average carbonation. Perhaps a bit thinner than most Barley Wines, but I won’t knock drinkability in a BW. Finishes sweet with lingering bready malts and caramel. Very good.

Smells a lot like blueberries. Looks golden with nice white head. Taste is like a typical light lager but with mashed blueberries. A tad sweet but a pleasant enough girly beer
