Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012, London. Pours lightly hazy amber with a fine, white foam head. Sugary bread nose, some caramel. Medium sweet flavor with tons of sugary caramel. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sugary sweet finish with more caramel. Pretty one-dimensional, but I suppose that’s about all you can expect of most bocks.

Bottle 500ml. @ chriso s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2012.Clear light to medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, toasted - caramel, oxidide, sugar. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120804]

Amber color with lasting colored foam head. Sweet fruity taste and good alcohol content. Nice lasting sweet palate.

As Weihnachtsfestbier. Amber colour with a creamy head, and the aroma has notes of dusty straw and sweet grain. The flavor is moderately sweet with notes of grain.

Copper color. Coppery, metallic aromas as well as sweet malt. Smooth mouthfeel. Big malty, bready, coppery flavors.

At Chriso pre GBBF Shindig 2012. Mid brown colour some decent malts some decent hop on end. Some toffee. very malty. Ok. 535312 re-rate bottle thanks to ErlangerNick. Clear chestnut colour. Rather a tasty malty beer. Touch of hop on the finish. I rather liked it.

50cl draft @ Moeder Lambic, Fontainas. Dorée/orangée, col blanc épais. Arôme de grains, malt typique pour le style qui reste bien agréable, houblon est léger laissant un côté fleuri. En bouche, une pils légère et qui se démarque un peu de ce l’on a trop tendance à retrouver en Allemagne cad ce profile métallique. Houblon donne une belle note amer et herbacé tout en ayant un bon côté fruité finissant sur une pointe épicée et houblonnée.

50cl bottle, BBE 02/2012. Poured copper color with a thin white head. Aroma is bready, some caramel malt as well as weak roasted notes. Flavor is caramel, bready notes and roastedness in finish. Slightly dry finish. Good session beer.

From tap at Moeder Lambic. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty, light cornish. Cornish, grassy, bitter and light toasted malty flavoured. Lingering bitter and light toasted malty finish.

Draught Clear copper beer with a very good, just yellowish head, leaving lacerings. Beautiful malty nose, dry, but fresh malts, ever so slightly sugary. Maltbomb, but not overly sweet, there being a slightly peppery hopimpression. Finish consists as pure maltsugars. Lots of gristslickness, nearly medium bodied. If all Pilsners were like this, nobody would make a difference between lagers and speciality beers...
