Cask-conditioned at the Old Spot, Dursley 10/7/09. Deep amber with a moderate, off-white head. Sweet, fruity aroma with a touch of earthy malts. Flavours of caramel, red berries and a decent bitter finish. Good.

Cask, Dee Hotel (JDW), West Kirby. Deep dark brown colour with a medium sized tan head. Roasted malt, raisin and licorice aroma .Quite full bodied and rich sliding down. Flavour fairly malt heavy with a healthy dose of dark fruit and booze. Finished lingeringly sweet. Some definite appeal here.

Cask Conditioned at J.D. Watherspoon - The Shakespear’s Head, London
Hazy deep amber color; compact head. It has some caramel aroma, but very light. Caramel flavor, with traces of chocolate. The mouthfeel tends to be dry at the end, and watery, and the chocolate is rising. Common.
