500ml bottle, present from the wife after her weekend in Liverpool. Poured into a UK Pint sleeve at home on 19th Feb 2017. Orange hue to the amber body, off-white, creamy textured head. Hop centric and fairly bitter, liked it.

Keighley & Worth Valley Railway Beer Festival 2016. Has a mild syrupy texture with a light sweetness to this. Very palatable for its strength.

500ml bottle on 16th Jan 2017 in the Wetherspoons airside at John Lennon airport, Liverpool. Amber pour, thin white head. Citrus led aroma and taste (blame the hops). Actually it was OK, but I preferred the cask Gold and bottle of Red Rocks (both from Peerless) I had before this.

500ml bottle on 16th Jan 2017 in the Wetherspoons airside at John Lennon airport, Liverpool. Liked the colour of this ruby red ale, decent off-white crown too. A malty, rye flavoured brew with a nose to match: semi-sweet and easy to drink.

Cask pint, hand-pulled in the small Wetherspoons, airside at John Lennon airport Liverpool on 16th Jan 2017. As the name might suggest, the beer was gold in colour, the head a white affair. Hoppy from the off, mild citrus notes throughout and quite refreshing: finish is dry.

Copper colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of fresh malts and an orange peel type of bitterness.

Gravity cask at the Murderers, Norwich. Deep gold, pretty much flat. Gluey malt and earthy/fruity hop in the aroma. Simple but enticing bitter taste. A hint of astringency in the long finish. An unsubtle but enjoyable beer.
