Pours a lightly hazy, very pale lemon-gold, with big head that dissipates fairly quickly. Aroma is full of esters, like sour banana, coriander, etc. Flavors follow. Fairly clean, crisp mouthfeel. Lots of carbonation.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: copper color with a little bit of transparency about it; two finger white foamy head dissipated at a nice pace to leave some light lace
Aroma: floral/piney/earthy hoppiness with clean malts
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine bittersweet appeal; finishes floral/piney hoppy with clean malts
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, some smoothness but also some hop assertiveness
Overall: nice AIPA worthy of coming back to.

Can was a bit gushy. Nice saison yeast expression, a little lemon peel, flaked wheat, pale bread, biscuits, hay. Nicely balanced and highly drinkable.

Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: pours dark brown but looks more like black in the glass, two finger off white foamy head gave way and left some light lace
Aroma: earthy hops rub into some ash, dark malts, coffee roast, dark chocolate, some cocoa powder, and black licorice
Flavor: starts bitter running through mostly all of those prior noted aromas except the black licorice, then a semi-sweet note of the cocoa powder and a light spicy undertone from the black licorice; finishes earthy, bitter, roasty and sly touch of sweet
Texture: medium bodied, somewhat sessionable but the bitterness and the roastiness hits the tongue pretty hard on that bitterness aspect and this is also pretty dry.
Overall: this is an "old school" American porter, one not for the faint of heart as it's pretty hoppier and dry than the newer American porters in this day and age with more balance.

127 Cryopop. Protect Free Speech. Medium body. Lange afdronk, flink aards bitter.

Can from trade with ClarkVV--thanks, Clark! Inky black with ephemeral thin head, nice sparkle, nice viscosity, no lacing. Aroma is strong bourbon, rye, sweet, earthy malts, chocolate, toffee. Taste is strong bourbon, sweet, earthy malts, chocolate, rye and caramel. Thick texture, full bodied, average carbonation and finish as taste. Thick and sweet with a bunch of barrel as an offset. I'm loving sipping this! I guess much more than my posse.

Can from my bro. It pours murky blonde with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, green, weedy, piney, floral, twist of citrus, weedy, dank, bong rips, biscuit and sponge cake. The taste is dry, weedy, green, dank, some rawness, bong rips, floury bread, twist of citrus, juicy, bright, stone fruits, grapefruit and peppery spice with a drying, actually quite bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice one.
