Success of the beers lead to a need to expand which resulted in a moved to a location at the opposite end of the village, The Brewery, Holme-on-Swale, in 1994. Brewing capacity was doubled in 2000. Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Malty aroma with some coffee and burnt toffee. Dark cola brown. Thin bubbly beige head. Light bitter with some smoky sweetness. Sweeter into the finish. Light bodied. Thin but slick. Low key carbonation. Abrupt finish. Way too thin and whilst there is a sweetness it does not really bring toffee to mind. Poor attempt if still drinkable.
