500ml Can - Amber in colour. Grapefruit, pine, toffee, passion fruit, peach and pineapple in the enticing aroma. Fairly bitter and hoppy, yet nicely balanced with notes of lemon, grapefruit, pineapple (lilt, perhaps) and fudge.

Can at O’Connor’s, Uppsala July 2012. (thanks SaintMatty) Slightly hazy golden/orange with some sediments. The head was white and not that large. A great hoppy aroma on this one. Grape, citrus, pineapple and caramel. The taste was hoppy and very refreshing. Not brutally bitter. May I have another one, please?

Bottled at Woodshop 7. Fruity chocolate nose with berry and vanilla. Boozy flavor with vanilla, wood, and lots of chocolate. Smooth, sweet, and tasty stuff.

Can on the RBSG bus. Great nose: tropical fruit, peaches and mango. Golden pastel color. Estery, bready flavor with honey malts. Prockly carbonation is a bit much. Peppery hop finish and noticeable alcohol. Well bitter. Nose is great, flavor much less exceptional than expected, though good. Second time was from the can at Manhattan Pizza in Burlington. Nose was less available, but the resinous, citrus hops were lovely.

[thnx Eric for pickin’ this up for me and holdin’ on to it for a couple of weeks] Hazy yellow to orange color, lots of floaties in it, medium sized white head. Smell malts, a lot of hops, pine, resin and citrus. Taste hops, grapefruit, citrus, lightly pine and resin, superbly bitter finish. Medium body, medium carbonation.

Can direct from Alchemist Cannery. Pours a cloudy yellow with an off white head. Decent retention. Massive hoppy aroma of citrus, grapefruit, peach and some light malt and caramel. Flavor is a beautiful blend of fruity hops (mostly grapefruit and orange) caramel malt and medium bitterness. Nice toasted cracker malts as the backbone. Full body, soft carbonation. The finish is a long pine, oily bitterness. Light resin notes toward the backend as well. Amazing drinking considering the bitterness. This is just as good as Dreadnaught or Hopslam. I have to agree with the masses on this one. Superbly made.

Drunk to celebrate my rating number 24,200. Can. A hazy golden beer with a thin lazing white head. The aroma has notes of peaches, malt, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hops, peaches, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.
