Cask (gravity) at Smithfield, Derby. Pours golden yellow with minimal frothy off-white head. There’s floral hops and malts in the aroma. In the mouth it is sweet but with a little underlying bitterness and a creamy texture. Flavour is somewhat spicy with fruity hops, caramel and kiwi, leading to a slightly dry finish. This is quite nice.

Half-pint, draught at Craven Arms. Scattered lacing from a covering white head, hazy pale golden body. Moderate smell of citrus fruits. The taste profile follows suit with lemony hops, lime, and a backdrop of grain. Malt-fruity ending moments. Just alright. (Birmingham, 22.04.2025).

Cask at Copper Beech Brewery & Taproom, Worcester on 11th April 2025. Clear golden amber with shallow off-white foam and scant lacing. Zesty citrus aroma. Citrus peel in-mouth with grapefruit and grassiness. A rounded bitter citrus finish of some duration. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Exquisite.
