The Brew By Numbers range features a handy naming convention, where the first number refers to the beer's style and the second number refers to the beer's recipe.
Initially a small scale brewer who first brewed in October 2012 based on Southwark Bridge Road, London. Moved to their current location, where a 10BBL plant is used, in June 2013.

Draught@Sori Taproom, Helsinki. Hazy yellow colour with a mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is tropical fruits, nectar, some ango and mild zesty tones. Flavour is lemongrass, some zest, grapefruit, nectar and rather sweet. A wee bit alcohol too.

Draught@Panema, Helsinki. Reddish brown colour with a creamy mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is toffee, some coffee, lactose nd mild caramel with some roasted notes as well. Flavour is malt, coffee, some floral and dried fruity tones with quite a creamy aftertaste.

Bottle. Hazy yellow colour with a small white fluffy head, which settles into a small one quite fast. Aroma is fruity, citrusy, some mild yeasty and wheaty tones along with some herbs. Flavour is lemon, some mild parfumed soapy tones with mild yeast and grains to it. Not the best of experiments, or then something happened in the fermentation.

Bottle. Pinkish orange colour with a small white foamy head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is raspberries, some elderflower and mild herbal tones. Flavour is raspberries, some mild herbal and wheaty tones with mild tartness to it. Ends up a bit strange.

440ml can - Pours black with a large foamy tan head. The aroma is deep roasted malts, coffee grounds, charred grain and some chocolatey notes. A rich roasted taste, roasted malts, coffee and chocolate flavours with a ashy and bittersweet roasted finish.

Can from Tesco, Inverurie it pours clear golden yellow with a fluffy white head which dissipates. The aroma is fairly fresh, clean, floral, potpourri, grassy, lemon verbena, twist of lime, greengage, melon and grain. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, snappy, decent hit of bitterness, peppery spice, fragrant, floral, pithy, citrus, lemon - lime, waxy peel, pretty clean malt base, bread, snappy biscuit, grass and some herbal accents with a drying, peppery finish. Average body and fine, prickly carbonation. Decent chuggable clean cold IPA.

Can. Nose is grassy, lemon, hint of stone fruit. Taste is grain, pine, leading to light citrus and pine finish. Very carbonated pillowy flavour.

Can. melon, grapefruit, grass, lime, lemon. Taste is melon, hint of stone fruit, lime, hint of grapefruit, pine. Dry and pleasant.

Bottled. Hazy golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some grassy and mild citrus elements. Flavour is citrus, some grass, herbs, mild biscuity tones as well as some bitterness in the finish too.

Bottled. Deep brownish black colour with a huge beige foamy head. Aroma is roasted malts, mild nutty notes with some dried dark fruits. Flavour is dates, some coffee, roasted malts, coffee and some oatmeal tones with mild nutty notes. Smooth and highly enjoyable sipper.
