Description
To create new and unique beer styles that challenge people's perception of beer. In short: to create true Craft Beers.

The Brew By Numbers range features a handy naming convention, where the first number refers to the beer's style and the second number refers to the beer's recipe.

Initially a small scale brewer who first brewed in October 2012 based on Southwark Bridge Road, London. Moved to their current location, where a 10BBL plant is used, in June 2013.

From tap at Borefts 2017. Aroma is citrussy fruits, floral notes, orange blossom, notes of lemon. Flavour is mildly sweet and bitter with a fairly dry finish. Body is medium. Very floral, nice Saison.

From tap at Borefts 2017. Aroma is huge mocha and coffee with roasted malt and dark chocolate. Flavour is sweet with a hefty roasty bitterness. Body is medium to full. Lovely roasty Coffee Porter, lots of coffee with a big bold flavour!

From tap at Borefts 2017. Aroma is citrus and yeast with herbal notes, notes of red wine, white grapes and sweet malt. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet. Body is medium. Nice blend of yeasty styles.

Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is citrussy and spicy with lemon, soft black pepper, yeast, wheat, and mildly floral. Flavour is light sweet and bitter with a hint of tartness. Body is light. Very easy and drinkable, nice citrus aroma.

Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is fruity with zesty citrus, hoppy notes, grass, and soft lemon. Flavour is light sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is medium. Nice citrussy Session IPA.

Bottle at Café Derat, Utrecht. Aroma is roasty with lots of grindy coffee, cocoa, chocolate, caramel, some mocha, with a touch of tobacco and liquorice. Flavour is medium sweet with a firm roasty bitterness. Body is medium. Very good Coffee Porter.

Bottle from Sterk Amsterdam. Spicy rye malt and Saison yeast aroma with bready grains, ripe fruits, citrus, and soft herbal notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and a little tart with a mild bitterness in the finish. Body is medium. A fine tart-ish Saison with a robust rye malt structure.

Bottle from Sterk Amsterdam. Fruity yeasty aroma with herbal notes, grass, citrus, lemon, weedy and hoppy notes with a floral touch. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and above moderate bitter with a dry finish. Body is medium. Weedy herbal Mosaic shines in this Saison, good stuff.

Bottle from Stanislaus Brewskovitch, Zwolle. As "BBN0 1702 Table Saison Lemongrass". Aroma is wheaty malt with lemongrass, citrus, slightly tart lemon, grass, and peppery yeast. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Body is light. Modest but pleasant lemongrass 'Table Saison'.

Bottle from Stanislaus Brewskovitch, Zwolle. Aroma is spicy and herbal with peppery yeast, pale malt, citrus, and zesty lime. Slightly sweet and light bitter flavour with a dry finish. Medium bodied. Another classy BBN0 Saison.
