Hand-pulled pint in my local Wetherspoons (often has Lymestone beers on) on 27th Nov 2014. Poured a clear amber colour with a good white head. Malty front with the hops pushing through later. Semi-sweet with a mini bitter undertone. Woody, nutty hints within the flavours gave it a wintery feel. As it warmed the beer seemed to get more alcoholic and it ended up tasting almost like a Barley Wine. Really enjoyed it.

Very dark brown, frothy tan head, good lacing
Aroma of very fruity dark malts, jammy tart dark fruits, no roast, plummy
Taste of jammy dark fruits, sweet sticky fruity dark malts, some bitter dark chocolate, getting some bitter spicy hop in there, quite complex
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, sticky quite sweet, some tart jammy fruits, liquorice. Finish of roasted malts, some bitter roast, soft dark chocolate
Overall - Very fruity malts in this, sort of a cross between an old ale and stout. Unusually over fruity malts, maybe a tad too much.

Cask @ The Waterhouse, Manchester. Blond with a creamy head. Quite hoppy and sour with a mild citrus character running throughout and a fair bitterness, although thin and weak tasting.

Cask handpull from Berry Walmer. Clear light brown lasting beige head. Tasty enough malty bitter. Some yeast on aroma some dry brown malt. Quite dry on the finish. Ok malty bitter. Dry on finish.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. The aroma is big resin hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a light watery mineral earthy hop bitter palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation.
