Hand-pulled half-pint on 1st May 2014 at a beer festival in The Crown Inn, Oakengates: 34 hand-pulls to choose from, this was my first of the day. Clear amber body pour, with no head to speak of. Fruity and malty in both the nose and taste, an understated treacle/molasses sweetness throughout with just enough hop content to prevent the beer being overly sweet. Another fine beer my these guys.

Cask @ The Bhurtpore Inn, Aston. Not often you see a 7% IPA on cask. Fruity, sweet hops with sweet malts and a strong alcohol finish. Tastes a bit queer and perhaps a bit too strong-tasting for a Sunday afternoon.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a clear medium amber with little life. The aroma is resin hop, malt, toffee. The flavour is medium bitter with a rich resin hop light medicinal palate. Medium to full bodied with flat carbonation. Pretty lifeless but loved the flavour.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin white head. The aroma is light malt and creamy caramel. The flavour is medium bitter with a malt hop bitter slightly watery palate. Medium bodied with a average carbonation. I really liked this. Lots of flavour and ideal for a session.

NWAF 23 Jan 13. Gyldenbrun. Lavt skum. Svak aroma. Litt frukt. Smaken er som et søtt sukkertøy med antydning til flatbrød i ettersmaken.
