Description
Classic infusion brewed beer from @SheffieldTap, and decoction brewed beer from @TappedLeeds.

Established in 2012, making use of newly renovated space in the Sheffield Tap. The Tapped brewery is a 4BBL (Brewers Barrel) kit. The Hot Liquor Tank, Mash Tun, Underback and Copper are all insulated and copper clad. There are two 2000 litre closed conical fermenters behind the brewery, these allow us to brew the same beer on two consecutive days and ferment them in the same vessel. The fermenting room to the side of the brewery houses a further four 1000 litre fermenters for single brews.

Cask, half-pint at Harrogate Tap. Clear amber-gold body, firm white head blanketing the glass. Moderate smell of pale malts and green hops, mid-dry. Flavoured with leafy hops, and earthy malts followed by a fruity bitter finish. Easy to drink. Quite alright. (Harrogate 07.07.2022).

Cask @ The Pub, Hebden Bridge, formerly Calans. Golden with a creamy-frothy head. It’s clean tasting making this strong brew easier in the palate. Has a hoppy character.

Cask at the Sheffield Tap. Poured a clear golden colour with an everlasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt and woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, grainy, biscuit, funky yeast, light floral, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
