Established in 2012, making use of newly renovated space in the Sheffield Tap. The Tapped brewery is a 4BBL (Brewers Barrel) kit. The Hot Liquor Tank, Mash Tun, Underback and Copper are all insulated and copper clad. There are two 2000 litre closed conical fermenters behind the brewery, these allow us to brew the same beer on two consecutive days and ferment them in the same vessel. The fermenting room to the side of the brewery houses a further four 1000 litre fermenters for single brews.

Cask at The Colmore, Birmingham. Pours gold with nice level of foam. This one has a stone fruit and citrus flavour with a modest tangy quality, some sweet earthiness and light bread. Quite smooth. Decent although could do with a bit more in the flavour.

Cask @ Tapped Leeds, Leeds. Clear golden smooth textured ale with a creamy head. Crisp enough hopped brew, whilst there may not be much flavour wise beyond this, the sum of its parts make it very appealing.

Half-pint, cask at Sheffield Tap, shared with Finn. Decent pearl white head blanketing the glass, near-clear late straw coloured body. Moderate smell of cereal malts and lemony hops. Orange and lemon to the taste profile added by oily hops, and grain. Mid-dry ending with a welcome bitter twist. Satisfying. (Sheffield, 25.03.2024).
