500ml can: BBD 30 May 2014. Shared with my daughter and poured into a couple of old German Pilsner glasses at home on 29 Sep 2013. Looks good, clean, clear and very golden: the white head refusing to stay long though. I wasn’t expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised: if this had come in a cork and caged bottle with a Belgian breweries name on it everyone would be raving about it. However it comes from England in can form, so everyone has already decided it’s crap! The nose is fairly sweet and grainy, the taste similar but with a large alcohol blast, the malts just about hiding a slight metallic twang and the hops providing a mini bitterness towards the end of each sip. A shared can was enough for me, but there is nothing wrong with this strong lager at all.

Lighter golden coloured lager without a head but plenty of carbonation. It’s strength is noticeable in its taste which has a sweetness, as does its aroma.

Tallboy from a shop in Earl’s Court. Pours gold with a fizzy white head. Aroma smells just a little like cold fish fingers. And my hands don’t! Med + body. Flavor is pretty much alcohol and malt, but I’ll give it a little toffee. Maybe a touch of metallic. No fusil oils. Not really disgusting. But my body is a temple and I will not desecrate it with much of this. Still, if I was on a deserted island, and this washed ashore, I’d probably drink it.

Appearance: Clear light yellow color with a small bubbly white head.
Aroma: A bit sweet apple fruity.
Palate: Medium light body. Sweet and an average carbonation.
Taste: Sugary and some apples. Well hidden alcohol.
Overall impression: Probably the worst British cider I have ever tasted. Strange light stuff for an 7,5% cider. I am normally a cider fan.

Can. Greenish yellow colour. Light apple aroma. Ugly white wine notes. Average apple flavor. Same bad wine notes. Average finish. Watery palate and too fizzy.

Can @ HenrikSoegaard tasting. Clear champagne colour with a fully gone head. Aroma is light apple, sulphur and poor white wine. Flavor is medium sweet. Dry finish. Watery. 280912

Can, 7.5%. Clear very pale yellow with no head. Aroma is apples, light white wine with notes of alcohol. Flavour is apples, light cheap white wine, medium sweet, light acid with notes of alcohol.
